Dover Motor Speedway Reviews

Went to Dover for the first time and, umm, I was surprised by how much of the track I could see from my seat. Even when the cars were way over on the far side, it was still easy to keep up with what was going on.

I didn’t feel like I was missing whole sections like I have at some bigger tracks. The sight lines were really good, and the big screen definitely helped too.

Getting in was quick, and leaving was smooth too. it was nice not having to deal with any hassle—kind of a pleasant surprise.

I had a good time at the track, but... the prices for food and drinks were kind of ridiculous. We ended up paying a lot for really basic stuff, and it added up fast. I get that places like this are usually expensive, but yeah... this felt a bit over the top.

I was happy with the concession snacks at the track. Everything I tried was tasty (which I wasn’t totally expecting), and it made the whole experience even better.

I went to Dover Motor Speedway on a packed race day and was expecting the restrooms to be a mess, but they were actually really clean, the floors were dry, the stalls had toilet paper, and it didn’t have that gross big-event bathroom smell you usually just prepare yourself for.
The staff seemed to be checking on them often too, which I really appreciated because it’s one of those little things you don’t think about much until it makes your whole day easier and more comfortable.

The worst part of the day was just trying to park and leave. It felt like nobody really knew where cars were supposed to go, and everything was super disorganized. After the race, traffic was backed up forever and we were barely moving for what felt like ages. It really took the fun out of the whole day, and I probably wouldn’t go back unless they seriously fix the parking situation

We brought the kids thinking it would be a fun family day, but they got bored quickly, which was just delightful after paying to be there. The lines were long enough to really test everyone’s patience, and the bathrooms were… let’s just say they had clearly seen better days. Maybe it’s better for other groups, but for families, it wasn’t exactly a great time.

I tried getting race tickets through dovermotorspeedway.com, it felt like the site was making it way harder than necessary. Checkout kept freezing, then the seats I picked just disappeared, so I had to start over a couple of times. The extra fees didn’t show up until late in the process, which didn’t feel great either. Then the confirmation email took so long that I wasn’t even sure the order actually went through. I reached out for help, but support didn’t really do much. Kind of disappointing for something that should’ve been simple.

Race day was handled really well overall. The lines moved quick, and I didnt feel like I was stuck waiting around forever.

I was expecting a lot more for the price. It looked like it would be worth it at first, but once I actually got it, it felt underwhelming. Kind of had that bait-and-switch feeling where the value just didn’t match what was promised. Not really worth the money in my opinion.

The seats were really, really comfy, even after sitting there for hours. I was kind of expecting my back to be sore, but nope, no back pain at all when I left

the camping experience wasn’t great.. the showers were really bad and made the whole stay feel a lot more uncomfortable than it needed to be

The staff did help me out, and I appreciate that, but it felt like I was waiting around a lot. They were nice once they got back to me, but the slow replies were frustrating. Just kind of slow overall, and I kept feeling like I had to wait longer than I should have

The place was mostly clean enough, so no huge complaints. But the bathrooms got messy quickly, and by later on the trash bins were full. Not awful or anything. Just feels like it could use a little more attention during the event.

I had a great time at Dover Motor Speedway. The whole place had this awesome race day energy, even before anything really got going. The crowd was loud, friendly, and just made it feel like everyone was there to have a good time. I had asked someone about where to head when we got in, and they were basically like, “Just follow the flow, you can’t miss it,” which was true. Walking around before the race was fun on its own, with everyone buzzing and excited. Just a really solid day all around

The accessible parking and seating were easy to figure out. And the staff, they were great. They helped us get around without making it feel like a hassle or a big deal, which I really appreciated.
